As part of our giving back program, we are delighted to be donating a ton and a half of our Ultra Low Maintenance Lawn Seed for use in 100 Habitat For Humanity home lawns. This is being done to benefit Wounded Warriors and others all across the country.
Habitat’s mission is to build Homes, Community and Hope. They have both home building and repair programs in which they partner with low to moderate income families to make the dream of home ownership a reality. The homes are sold to qualified families at a reduced price - in lieu of a down payment partner families are required to “invest” a minimum of 400 hours of sweat equity by taking part in the construction of their future home. Habitat for Humanity is sustained by donations from the community. They utilize donated building materials and volunteer labor to construct the homes.
